Watch Party: Tacoma LNG Litigation

  • Pollution Control Hearings Board 1111 Israel Road Southwest Tumwater, WA, 98512 United States (map)

Puget Sound Energy’s Tacoma LNG facility was built without consultation or consent from the Puyallup Tribe, and before it had received all of its permits. We know this facility endangers our health, safety, and climate, threatening Indigenous, Brown, and Black bodies first and worst.

The Puyallup Tribe is steadfast in their opposition to the facility and our community continues to follow their leadership and to fight with them.

Earthjustice is representing WPSR and a cohort of peer organizations on an appeal of the air permit. The Puyallup Tribe is also appealing this permit.

The cases will be heard back to back for two weeks starting on April 12th. Join our community as we send hopeful energy towards these proceedings. We are powerful when we gather, even on Zoom.

Join us for background on the litigation and to listen to the opening arguments from EarthJustice and Puget Sound Energy.
