Economic Inequity & Health (Virtual) May Meet-up

Please join us May 20th for a policy analysis presentation & discussion on policies that support economic equality in Washington!

For the past five months, MPA Student Consultants from the UW Evans School of Public Policy & Governance have partnered with WPSR to develop a framework to identify policy areas that can most effectively reduce economic inequality in Washington. These students have extensively researched the links between economic inequality, social policy, and public health, and identified some of the main policy drivers leading to economic inequity and poor health outcomes in our state.

In our May meeting, we will explore their robust policy analysis and policy assessment tool that will be used to help inform our Economic Inequity program priorities as we continue our fight for an equitable economic response to COVID-19 - both throughout and beyond the pandemic.

Please join us (virtually) on May 20th at 6.30pm for a presentation and discussion from our MPA student partners as they share their fantastic work!
