Hiroshima to Hope's Annual Lantern Floating Ceremony

Time: 6 PM

Hiroshima to Hope will host its annual lantern-floating ceremony to remember the victims of the atomic bombs dropped on Hiroshima and Nagasaki. The evening begins at 6 PM, and includes a chance to try lantern calligraphy, meditate, have a picnic, and enjoy some art, including a sculpture of "Little Boy" by artist Yukiyo Kawano. There will also be music and speakers before the lanterns are placed on the lake. The event is free to attend!
